Matt McQuaid

Biography

Matt is an experienced trial lawyer who has successfully tried to verdict a vast array of cases in Federal and State courts. In over 25 years in practice, he has taken on cases of fraud and conspiracy as well as other complicated criminal matters. Matt has represented clients in multiple jurisdictions throughout Illinois and other States. Along with his wealth of trial experience, Matt has argued appeals in the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Illinois Appellate Court. Prior to embarking on a private practice, Matt served for 8 years as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Cook County in the Criminal Prosecution Division.

Education

Matt obtained his law degree from The John Marshall Law School in 1992 after graduating from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois in 1988.
